Hey all! What's new with you? You see my cute little brother? Hahaa, I made him wear his hat that way because I told him I couldn't see his eyes anymore! So, he gave me a look that way I could see them I guess.. ;) Here is what I've been doing!

  • Writing.. I started adding more to a story I was writing last fall.
  • Bike riding... I have been trying to ride a mile a day.
  • Coughing..lol, I got a cold! (Do any of you have colds?!)
  • Doing my schoolwork! I finished a huge chunk of my algebra!
  • Shopping for Summer clothes..and it hasn't been easy this year.
  • Reading..yay!
  • Celebrating my sister's birthday!
  • Learning how to text and cook. lol! Thanks Amanda.. I am becoming quite a multitasker ;)
  • Listening to loads of music on Spotify!
  • Getting ready to go on vacation and meet friends for the first time! Yeah!
  • Cleaning..now who doesn't do that? :D
  • Meeting with friends at a park and drawing chalk art for hours. (Post later!!)
  • Writing for a group blog. (Did I ever tell you all that I am writing on a blog every other Wednesday?! Here is the link; Girls living for God's glory)
  • Wanting to attempt to make fudge! (Does anyone have a good fudge recipe!?)

Today is a beautiful SUMMER day of 83 degrees where I live. What is it like for you? I was surprised to wake up and look out the window to see green LEAVES! Yes..they opened a lot over night. I was so excited that I jumped out of bed. lol! Did you know that summer is very important to me? It is so lovely and warm..so comforting to me!

What have you been doing these fine May day? What book are you reading? Are you going on vacation this summer?

  1. Wow, you're going on vacation? That's awesome! You will have to tell me all about it when you get back ;) So glad you are getting to meet some friends! I hope you have a nice time!! Ooh, a good fudge recipe. My brother makes a really good peanut butter white chocolate fudge, I don't know if that's what you're looking for. But just in case, here's the link:

  4. In April I am getting ready to have a Nerf war against the Avengers at the performing arts stage. O-o Um, I can't explain what this is specifically or why... it's difficult. XD I'm not reading anything (at the moment, I'm too busy studying for finals), but I'm getting ready for a trip I have to go on to. ^.^

    xoxo Morning

    1. In April?! Um..sorry to break it to you, but it's May. ;) lol! But that sounds like a lot of fun! Yeah, I know, this is a really hard time of the year. How are you doing with your studies?

  5. Uhhh.. I have no clue!! Everything's just probably going to sum up to cramming every single knowledge of math and science into my brain to pass my ACT's in June. And then I'll just probably explode. No biggie.

I'm re-reading "An Old-Fashioned Girl" by Louisa Alcott. One of the most loveliest books on the planet for anybody (well, mostly girls, ya know) any age!!! <33 cannot even....

    1. Oh my! You sound like school is keeping you busy. Just try to breath..because you'll only live today once. :)

That sounds great! I don't think I've read that one yet.. :P I'll have to read it! I actually need to do 7 book reports, so I could read that one and get some good credit. :D Thanks..I was actually completely blank on books I could read.

  6. Haha, I'm with you on the coughing! I'm over most of my cold but the cough still remains. =P Texting and cooking is a very important skill to have. ;D Its been summer here in Texas for about a month, but its still comforting to look out and see green leaves. =D

I've been editing mostly this month. Not as fast as I would have liked, but I am getting it done. =D I just finished re-reading Little Women by Louisa May Alcott late last night and am going to pick a new book this morning. =) Nope, not really. We're going to do some special stuff at home while my brother if off school though. =)

I hope you have an amazing time meeting your freinds! =D

    1. Uhg, that stinks! I am still coughing too! Ohh, editing sounds grand! And Louisa Alcott is popular lately! Look above, another girl is reading a book by her too. :) What book did you pick? Thanks!

    2. Well, I hope you get over yours super fast! =) Shes probably popular because she was such a great author. =D I picked a Hardy Boys. I bought a big stack of them last week and am working my way through them. =)

      Have a good day!

  7. Aw that is such a darling picture! ;) Totally shows a glimpse of his personality.
I'm read Hope Was Here. It's a Newberry Award winning book and it's really good! Short, but the author writes like I do (haha) and the character reminds me of my main character. ;)
And haha I teach life skills you are welcome. :) You never know when cooking and texting will come in handy (like every day).

  8. Wait a minute...did you say, FUDGE!?!?!?! Ok, so there is this really great recipe we use for fudge called"fool proof fudge". Its so easy! I think its just a can of sweetened condensed milk and a bag of chocolate chips! You don't have to worry about the sugar getting grainy if you don't cook it long enough. Its awesome! And you can add any topping you want. We added crushed candy canes one time and put Andes mints on top another time. If you try it let me know how you like it:) I hope you are feeling better soon, dearest! <3
