He said, I love you // 55 mph

October 12, 2015
And so, it's nearly been two weeks..in fact I think it has. I apologize - but these days have been a whirl wind!! Well, except for this weekend, but I couldn't help myself from reading most of it. ;) Sooooo, you all ready for an update?!!

As you know, I started my drivers ed class early this month. I was very nervous the first few days.. it was a huge change for me! I already have learned a lot. I simply love my teacher! She is very calm and funny. ;) On my first drive with her she said that I did very well! I think she was surprised that I drive a 12 passanger van. ;) There have been quite a few funny moments too. Like the day when one of the girls in class literally threw her chair half-way across the room because a spider jumped on her paper. Yes....one of the guys had been playing with it. :D We had a good laugh over that! Later this week, I will be DRIVING on the highway - (or freeway as my teacher calls it.. I wonder if it's one of those eastern things I've picked up from my dad??) THE HIGHWAY people!! THAT's 70 mph!!!!! I've only gone to 55.... and even that! Ohh dear. lol

I've made applesauce, watched oldies with my sisters, cut my hair (YES!! I DID!), driven in the rain, done loads of schoolwork, learned about neutrons and cells, made friends, had my first anatomy test (and got 87%! oh yeah), texted hahaa, slept, mowed the lawn for the last time...., read tons of books, and oh gosh, so much more. It's LIFE. And it won't stop. ;)

Last night was amazing. The majority of my family went outside and star-gazed. We quite literally were able to walk down the dirt road (look at the last photo..yup that road) and watch stars for about 30 minutes WITHOUT one single car coming. I love my home so much. The Big Dipper was right at the end of this road and oh so majestic! It was clear as clear can be..and so bright. I could see every. single. star. I ran down the road singing and laughing. That's when I heard it.

"I love you."

It was a whisper in the wind. The stars sang it. The trees thrived on it. And, I? I blushed and giggled and whispered back; "ditto God. Thanks.."

Are you scared of spiders??
What's NEW with YOU?

  3. Girl I'd say you're a writer as much as I am. ;) Especially love that ending part! I think what you had was a vitamemoria . . . yup, I made that word up. It's a "life moment." Vitamemoria! Love how you said "ditto!" ;) Lol
Spiders don't really scare me . . . I'm really weird. If someone is afraid of them, I can walk up right to it and squish it with my finger. But if they say they aren't scared, I act like I am and seriously I do freak out. A teenage guy once found a spider and dared me to come look at it. I was six at the time and you know me--Little Miss Sassy Pants. I glared at him, stomped out onto the porch, saw the tiny spider, and sniffed with degredation.
"I've seen bigger," I harumphed. "Why the other day I saw a big fat black widow on the mailbox at Moe's restaurant."
Haha, never doubt I've always had my sass. ;)

Oh that's so funny! You were WAY sassier than I! I mostly have an air about me I guess..and my looks. Oh my looks! My family won't stop reminding me of them...haha!

  4. Oh, sounds like so much fun!!! :) And I must mention Geometry, as I promised. ;) It's okay. Algebra was so much more fun! Geometry is a bit harder, but I think I'm getting it! :P Anyways... Been doing lots of school!! I'm taking a Civil War study this year, so I wrote an essay for that yesterday. :)

Oooh, that ending Julia! So sweet. <3

I've been reading my first Grace Livingstone Hill book, 'Lo, Michael.' Have you read that? (Or any of hers?) What have you been reading? :D

    1. Isn't it?! I much more prefer actually FINDING and SOLVING the problem rather than guessing and doing estimates. Like seriously?? What's the point of estimating? :P Same here, and trying to cram it into life and class is HARD. :P Ooh, that sounds interesting! I do love my history. :D

Oh that's so cool! I haven't read any of her books, but I do own 3 really cute old copies. I will have to open one soon! I am reading about a World War II veteran. He is a Christian and lives in my state! It's really interesting so far. :) How are you? :)

I am doing pretty well. How about yourself? :) We're going to the Winter Jam concert and I'm excited! It'll be so good. :D

  6. Loved reading this update! :) Great job with your driving class! We *love* watching oldies as well ... Andy Griffith, Dick Van Dyke ... they are awesome!! The star gazing sounds w.o.n.d.e.r.f.u.l. and what a precious moment hearing from the Lord. <3 I love how you said ditto, hehe! :D
Good luck driving on the highway! You'll do great!

  7. Lol. You're spider story is so funny! Once a huge jumping spider was on the dash of our van right in front of my mom while she was driving and it jumped onto the floor but she thought that I jumped on her and she screamed and slammed on the break! It was very scary and if someone was behind us, we would have gotten into a wreck. It wasn't funny then but now we laugh about it. What's new with me? Oh so much! We got a pet conure, I just started geometry, um.. Fun stuff, 😉 Dance has been good but kept me very busy, and we're getting to go do a lot of fall stuff as in pumpkin patches and apple picking!
