abstract elephant // flash in the theater

January 6, 2016
Elephants... I've got this thing for them recently. It's like Bree's obsession with hedgehogs, but my obsession is with an animal much too large to be a pet. *sniff* Seriously though, have you ever seen those sweet grey elephant watercolor pictures? SO SWEET. When I saw the elephant picture in the adult coloring book, I was like "MINE". I worked on my masterpiece for days. what do you think? ;)

STAR WARS. My mom took me and my sisters to see it in theaters this past weekend! It was totally one of those last minute "let's do it!!" things. I loved loved loved it! I sat next to Bree (who, btw, cannot stay quiet for the life of her. xD) and we basically held a short commentary throughout the whole movie.

"and this all started because a little boy saw his great uncle with breathing tubes in the hospital..." -me
"woah, really????" oh Bree ;)
 later on
"then, said boy, was playing with his frisbee, and wondered. He wondered what it would be like if the frisbee was bigger - big enough to fly in." -me
"are you lying??" - Bree

Oh... and by the way, when they say phones off in the theater, they say it for a reason. I decided quickly to take a photo "for a blogpost". That was a bad idea. My phone took like 3 pictures, then it automatically was like, oh its dark in here, let me turn the flash on for you. NOOOOOOO!!!!! Thankfully I smothered the half flash in my coat...even Sarah never knew about it and she sat next to me. I survived. ;) and...um, those theaters have very confusing doors -- but that's a story for another time. :P

Have you seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens?
Most embarrassing moment at theaters?

  2. My most embarrassing moment at a theatre was when I laughed at a part in a movie that no one thought was funny....I was like "Come on guys, didn't you see the humor in that?!" But no...I was the only one laughing!:p

My most embarrassing moment in a theatre .... wait theatre as in musical or oH right movies Duh Evie.
Hmm Crying in The Hobbit when I wasn't meant to cry and I was with my two guy best friends and I'm sitting in between them sobbing. It was the music and acting and the brilliance of the film. Basically they just put their arms around me as I dabbed my eyes.

    2. WHEN, I repeat, WHEN are you 'not meant to cry" in "The Hobbit"?!??!?!?! I sobbed like an emotional dork through the entire last forty-five minutes of "The Battle of Five Armies"... And my sister was laughing so hard watching me watch it. And this was the SECOND time I watched it. Lol! I still feel like crying sometimes just finding GIFs, haha!
I haven't seen the new Star Wars, but your teasing Bree was hilarious! And if you mean that little elephant from the Etsy shop... I *LOVE* that thing! Haha :).

  4. Most embarrassing moment in a theater? I don't go to the theater much, but when I do you can bet I'll do something to embarrass myself. ;-P The last time was when my sister and I were walking into the theater while the previews were still playing, and there was a preview for Tomorrowland and suddenly there was George Clooney and I heard his buzzing voice...and I screamed before I could help it. (Not very loudly, but still loud enough that people heard.)

My most embarrassing moment at the theaters was when we were watching this dramatic movie (that I cant remember;P) and one of the characters screamed "no!" And I was so caught up in it I screamed 'no!' as well! EVERYBODY turned around and looked at me...i seriously wanted to sink down into the floor!;) Pretty embarrassing;P

    1. Thanks!! woooooah. now that sounds like something I would literally do. I remember the first time I watched The Hiding Place (about Corrie ten Boom), and it came to a part where a lady was getting beaten. I couldn't hold it in. I screamed. My mom was soooo shocked. lol! You'll never forget the moment you wanted to sink into the floor. ;)
