personality test - ISTP // 1 mile a day

March 25, 2016
I don't get what it is, but taking those personality tests are a blast! I used to be highly skeptical of them. lol I now get a kick out of seeing how close they can get to who I truly am. ;)  "Friendly but very private, calm but suddenly spontaneous, extremely curious but unable to stay focused on formal studies, ISTP personalities can be a challenge to predict, even by their friends and loved ones."

uhh...yup. Except that I think I can focus on studies quite well. ;)  I honestly do love doing the spontaneous though. Like randomly painting bedrooms and having sudden urges to make homemade sherbet.. It even says that one of the ISTP's weaknesses is being extremely stubborn. *turns crimson* My mom always says, "Oh Julia...you're such a JULIA." hehee!

I like to challenge myself..but, I always end up not completing what I set out to do! BLECK. I've learned I need a friend to do it with me, otherwise.. At this moment, I am doing a book challenge with 2 friends, a random monthly one (this month I have to exercise 1 mile a day), a year long photo challenge..haha! I got myself into a bunch ;)

Your personality is?? (A free personality test!)
What is one thing your mom teasingly calls you?

*quote from 16 personalities.com..oh and that little photo who looks just like me, is from there as well. lol

  1. haha, that's so COOL.
i love the myer=briggs personality test too, it's so ACCURATE. i'm an ENFP, which, is um, well, quite the character. *ahem* XD but it's definitely who i am, a very independent and free spirit with a spark of madness and creativity. *cough* OKAYYYYYY. and apparently i can change the world with an idea. yeah, we have to see about that one. haha, but yeah, the independent streak is something i need to work on. it's not always that great :) but yeah, i really like that test. and it's so interesting to see what famous people you're like...who are you like?

    1. I have only ever done the 16 Personalities personality test before.. I should try the Myer-Briggs ones because you all are talking about it! ;) Oh how neat - Dani Jeanne from "a vapor in the wind" is ENFP as well!! I looked it up.. I have lame famous people. lol Apparently being a ISTP as a woman *smirk* is really rare! So, out of the list that I know who these people (real and fictional) are; Indiana Jones, Bear Grylls, Tom Cruise....and a few others. BLAH. Though...hey Bear Grylls isn't too bad. lol

  2. Personality tests are kind of addictive! The more-or-less accurate ones are the most interesting, for me. I have taken the Myers-Briggs personality type. I took the "real" MBTI (yes, I paid money for it...) and scored ENFP. Every other knock-off free test I have taken places me as an ENFP as well and there really couldn't be a better summary of me.

  5. I have to leave for church (as it's Good Friday and my family always attends mass) but oh my gosh, I love the Myers-Briggs Personality Test! I love ISTPs! Most of my friends are of that particular personality type. I'm an INFP, though sometimes I sense that my J is slowly emerging... anyways, gotta go! Hope Easter goes well for you!

    xoxo Morning

  6. My first thought while reading this post? "SHE HAS MY PAPER!!!!!!", hahaha! I looooooove Hobby Lobby's paper, and I used that music sheet one for a quilled gift I made my sister, who is an awesome pianist (she plays by ear :) ).

How interesting that you are an ITSP! I think you said you thought you were an ISFJ last year, and I thought that was why we seemed to have so much in common (my friend who is an ISFJ and I are sooooo similar in most things that it is weird!), but my mom has often said that she thinks I take after my Dad in a lot of ways... and he is an ISTP :)! So maybe she is right :).

    1. lol!!!! Oh that's too funny! I do too..they have SO many options.. it's insane!
What a neat idea! She can play by ear?! My older sister, Bree, can do that too. I honestly wish I could lol

I believe I was! I was very confused as well, so I took the quiz like 5 times and each time I came up with ITSP - and I honestly think I just may have changed.. haha! Oh how neat! My friends are very similar to my sisters..and I think that's why I'm able to connect with you girls! ;)

  7. I took the test and now *cough, cough* don't remember what I was.... It did kinda sound like me, though! ;) Especially this part about remembering people and facts about their lives. I'm really good at remembering character names, and author names, and actors names... Does that count!? ;) I was kinda surprised by that part! XD Annnnyways.

Where/which test does it say what famous people you're like!? I'd kinda like to know... (Maybe.) ;) You got BEAR GRYLLS THOUGH. Don't mind me... He's super cool. ;) Did you know he's a Christian? I was SO happy when I found that out! He seems like a really nice guy. :)

    1. hahaa! I'll be honest with you, since I used to be ISFJ - I always forget what I changed to. I really have no idea why I changed, but I did! Oh yes, you are REALLY good at remembering little facts. That is one thing I adore about you!

      Oh, It was down by the end of your first page.. lol It is right before you click to go to "STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES"... :P I just looked it up and you're like;

Famous ISFJs : Queen Elizabeth II, Kate Middleton, Anne Hathaway Emma Watson.

Fictional ISFJs : Samwise Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings - Dr Watson, Sherlock Holmes’ partner - Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean.

There were a few who I didn't know so I didn't list them. LOL Oh I did know that! Isn't that the coolest thing?! I really like his accent ;)

    1. How how neat! I would say you have 2 ISTP friends. ;) Count me in! I kinda find it flattering that my personality is rare. :P Isn't it amazing that there are so many different people though, and different types. Like ones "type" doesn't fit all. God is amazing!! I didn't recognize many of my familiar types either. :P That's cool!

  9. Oh, people and personalities fascinate me! It's funny how people often 'fit' their names too! :) I'm not sure what my personality type it - I've done the tests, but somehow the answer never quite describes me. Maybe I just don't answer the questions very well!

  10. Haahaa! Yay now I have 2 istp friends!;)
Ikr! Only 5% of the population is istp and women istp's are even less than that! That's so cool! I haven't even met all the diff types, I still gotta meet like 10 other types! God IS amazing!;) And He made no two people the same! Even with the same personality type no two people are the same! Way cool!;)

    1. Yes, you do!! That's true.. I guess I thought only 5% of the population of woman are ISTP's - but no, of THE WORLD. woooooahh.... Let's all take a moment to realize that. XD That's sooo true. Totally amazing!! <3

  11. I LOVE personality tests!! I'm very borderline between INTJ and ISTJ so I've scored both of those on various tests. If you have't done it, I would highly recommend the Strength Finder test (I think it's from Gallup)... It costs money, but it was so worth it for me to see how I learn/interact/think and be able to maximize my strengths.

    1. IKR?! They're so randomly cool to me. It's like you know yourself...but taking the test CONFIRMS it and then you can explain to all of your friends and family what is remotely going on in your brain. LOL! I haven't heard of that one. I'm a cheapskate! hahaa! ;) I love that about the tests too.. :)
