i stepped on a frog / / pool set up

June 2, 2016
I hate slimy, goopy things. I really really hate snakes. You may not have thought that of me..but snakes creep me out to the core. Maybe it was from all those Disney movies : The Jungle Book (lean on me..............), Robin Hood (remember Sir Hiss anyone?), and *shivers* that creepy snake on The Brave Little Toaster 2 (THAT ONE IS BAD). I MEAN - you know me, I'm the barefoot gal. I WAS JUST WALKING WHEN SUDDENLY  *SQUISH*

I screamed. like my whole body shook and I screamed. My family turned and looked at me. I literally started to blush and covered my face. "I thought it was a SNAKE." Bree then bent down and picked up this harmless little frog "aww..poor thing, you stepped on it!"

We set up our pool this memorial day weekend! ITS FULL - SO SPARKLY BLUE. full. cool. water. ahhhhhhhhh.  ta-ta. off to swim

What are you AFRAID of?
Have you gone swimming yet??

  2. Lol! I hate snakes too. I honestly think it's a God-given fear. I think it's kinda romantic, in a way, that snakes were the downfall of mankind and now most people are afraid of snakes. ESPECIALLY WOMEN. Hmmmmmm . . . coincidence?? I THINK NOT!!
I hate the snake in jungle book. ICK. ICK. I actually liked Sir Hiss lol he always made me laugh.
Zack found a frog one time . . . I made sure he washed his hands after he touched it haha!! I like frogs. Not snakes. EW EW EW.

Okay, I like Sir Hiss too. BUT I was running out of snake names..and besides, he was rather annoying. AND HE DID TRY TO LULL THE IMPOSTOR KING TO SLEEP. that's scary.
only one time?? I have no idea how often Jacob brings frogs to the window. xD Oh, and the other day, he brought this long snake up to the kitchen window. I wasn't pleased. :P

    2. Ugh my brothers do that all the time. One Easter they actually put a frog in an egg and told me it was from the neighbors. I fell for it and and almost died of fright after I opened the egg.

  4. I am also scared of snakes and frogs and slimy gross disgusting things. My family started swimming last week. Our pool has only been up for a week, and I think I've gotten in about 5 times, at least.

I think summer is my favorite season now. I used to like spring and fall, but I think my favorite is summer now.

  8. *gasp* Are those your geese? Do you have geese? I've always wanted geese! It's the Beatrix Potter in me. ;-P

Ewww, I'm completely in agreement -- I don't like snakes either. I don't mind frogs, but I sure wouldn't want to step on one! Once I was walking on the beach, not really looking where I was stepping, and then I happened to look down and saw I was about two inches from stepping right on a dead fish. THAT was a close one.

Have fun in your pool! We don't have a pool, but we've got a creek. ;-)

  11. AGJIKS NO FAIR YOU GOT TO GO SWIMMING. We don't have a pool, and so I'm not sure if I'm really going to go swimming all that much this summer. oh well.
HAHAH that's really funny :) I FEEL YA. I hate snakes like SO SO much too. (and there's this friend I have that says that they're not that bad. I'm like, GIRL SERIOUSLY???) There was this one time, when I was at my friend's house, and they had been working in their pond (cleaning it out) and they had shot two snakes in it. So they had put the one in the garden ("why" i don't remember). So my delightful friend takes me to go look at it. AHEM. And then she picks it up and throws it at me. Thankfully, God had given me incredible dodging skills. HAHA. But to make matters worse, her brother (who's like two years older than me. SERIOUSLY DUDE.) and her mom had been watching me from the window. *flops face down into pillow and cries* Sometimes there's just like moments where I'm like HOW WHY UGH SFJDSKFJ why did that happen to MEEEE????? OK sorry this comment is like incredibly long i bet. But AWESOME posts and snakes are horrible. xD
