goofing off in a theater // finding dory

July 22, 2016

We FINALLY went to go see Finding Dory AGKAJSHLHSJAJDKL AHHHHHHHHHHHH GUYS LITTLE DORY IS SO CUTE BUT IM GETTING AHEAD OF MYSELF SO ILL TRY TO CALM DOWN

SEEEEEE -- anyways

The theater was empty, people. Bree, me and Sarah walked into the theater to see seats - JUST SEATS. No heads!
The movie was already started, so I walked down all the aisles, checking for people with my phone flashlight. Then burst out laughing. IT WAS EMPTY.

 "WHERE DO YOU WANNA SIT?"
"UHHH THE VERY BACK."
 No whispering needed.

We broke out into song when "It's a wonderful world" came on. CAUSE WE ARE JAZZ FANS.*fist bump*

*CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH*
*SLLLUUURRRP*
"YO SARAH, WANT SOME CHOCOLATE?"

We called out (people are listening to us right?? *cringes*) in the dark theater asking them turn the heat up CAUSE IT IS JUST US or DOES IT GET COLDER AS THE MOVIE GOES?!? *scratchy low voice* I knew it

And when the movie ended, we wandered around the room -- I danced to the end credits - whacking my elbow on a chair. DID YOU KNOW THOSE THINGS ARE VERY HARD?? Yeah. blood was involved *laughs*

P.S Uhhhh.. look at this old post which Emily just found >> Finding...dory??! <<

Have you ever sat in an empty theater??
ISNT DORY ADORBS?

  4. Little Dory is THE BEST, (I almost cried through the preview, so I was surprised I didn't cry eve harder during the movie than I did!), but I was disappointed that my favorite part of the preview (where Destiny tells Dory she loved telling her the same stories over and over) didn't make it in. Because. Seriously. Dory is my friend. And so I feel like Destiny. And I wish it had made it in. Lol! But it was so cute and SWEET anyway!
And I'm not kidding, this sounds like the best movie theater experience ever, hahaha! I love that you controlled the temp and just goofed off. Sounds too fun!!!

I didn't even watch the preview.. lol!! BUT I REALLY LOVED DESTINY. But....I mainly loved Bailey. HE WAS SO FUNNY.
well.. we TRIED to control the temp. But, now that I think about it, it was warming after... hahaaahaa!!

    2. Yes, I cried. I'm a total weeper during films, so... haha! Several of my family members laugh at me during pretty much every movie, haha! But yeah. During the preview when it shows Dory asking "But what if I forget you?...".... GAHHHHHHHHHHHHH I literally wailed! I'm a mess...

  5. My older sister and I met up with a few friends to see it exactly a week ago! The theater wasn't empty (because it was one of those super duper nice ones, not at all like the dollar theater we usually go to), but most everyone cleared out when the credits started rolling, so we got to snort over interesting last names. Did you see the post-credits scene??

Afterwards we went to Chickfila (which was mostly empty because it was after 8pm) and got to visit and brainstorm a spy book that apparently I now must write.

And yes! Dory is so ADORABLE!

  8. JUJ! That is hilarious that you guys went to see Finding Dory and that you were alone because... yesterday all of us kids except for Moriah went to go see it and we were 7 of the 9 people watching it! ;) I know!! Little Dory is SO adorable!!! :) She is so much cuter than when she is older. Which did you prefer... Finding Nemo OR Finding Dory? I liked Finding Dory better. :)

  15. HAHAH this entire thing is so me when I have the rare experience of sitting in an empty movie theater. I am the ultimate movie talker, my friends hate me.

Honesty time, although little Dory is FREAKING ADORABLE, I uh, didn't really enjoy the movie too much. All the characters are so annoying to me and so many things could have been avoided and just, ugh. But little Dory made up for all unmentionable amount of money I payed to watch it.

Also, I love your posts, they always make me smile :) (inserts creepy smiley face so you can unnecessarily picture me smiling at this post).

    1. ARE YOU SERIOUSLY?!? That is my older sister Bree to a T!! Serious lol!!!! It is rather annoying ;)

OH MY WORD I AGREE SO MUCH SHE IS SO CUTE. Hahaa! I agree, again. If you asked me if I liked Finding Nemo or Dory better, I would say Finding Nemo, even though I didn't love that at all. Finding Dory just wasn't realistic AT ALL. LIKE THAT FISH IS GONNA BE DRIVING A CAR. *rolls eyes* but that's Disney ;)

awwwww gosh, thank you!!! I love making people smile <3 I'm so glad you're back in the blogging world - I've really missed you :)

  17. You saw it!????! And didn't tell me?!!!?! ;) This movie was great! Baby Dory was adorable!!!!! I literally got kinda emotional at one point. I mean, Dory's parents were so sweet! AND THERE WAS AN END CREDITS SCENE!???????? Noooooo. We didn't stay for it. :'( We watched it almost three weeks ago and the theater was pretty full! Sounds like you guys had a blast! You guys and your antics. ;D

One time, we saw The Lego Movie and the theater was completely empty! We sat in the middle. Lol ;)

Now I kinda wanna go see this again... XD We're planning on seeing The Secret Life of Pets on Tuesday ($5 NIGHT!!!) So yes. ;)

Wooah, how cool! Why did you pick the middle? I was unsure of where to sit, but I KNEW not the front. lol

  18. Baby Dory is so CUTE!!! Like ugh, so on Disney's instagram page that had a video awhile back of the first minute when Dory is playing hide and seek and I nearly just died because she's so cute! Her voice, her eyes, everyone!!! I had to stop from squealing.

One important question, though: Did you do jazz hands? It's a musical theatre thing, but still, the amount of flare that you get from doing it. *jazz hands*

    xoxo Morning

P.S. Going to email you photos of what the room looks like right now, along with some of the stuff I still need to put up!

  19. I almost went to see Finding Dory on my birthday, and then opted for a picnic and book shopping instead (totally worth it). So I still haven't seen it! Watching a movie in an empty theater sounds like so much fun! I've been in almost empty theaters, but I don't think I've ever been in a totally empty one.

I love your blog, by the way!

I honestly wasn't expecting it to be so good, but it was amazing. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD so that I can watch it again.
