WHAT MAKES YOU SPARK(LE)????

May 30, 2018
I almost asleep when I forced myself to write that down. and, when I mean almost, I mean legit my eyes were sealed shut and I could have thought I was dreaming or something. but no, I wrote it down instead. I tell you, late night inspiration is annoying.

what makes you spark? or sparkle? (legit can't decide which I like better, so am going with both)
at first, I was like WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? so I pondered it. aka googled the words.

EMITS SPARKS OF FIRE OR ELECTRICITY. duuuude. uhm. yessss *nods vigorously*

A GLITTERING FLASH OF LIGHT. how can that be sooooooo inspiring??? like legit. I WANNA BE A GLITTERING FLASH OF LIGHT!!!!

I am known for going into a frenzy over what is right and what is not. Ask any of my closest friends, my family, etc. They probably have all had one or a few conversations with me while I rant about the insufferable driver that passed me on the road, or about all the junk in books these days, how people view themselves lowly when they're really suuper fantastic --- etc etc etc.

I spark when I have a surge of passion. or perhaps that's a sparkle. tbh, it could be both.

I just want you to know you're actually born with a vivid passion, that you were given to use. also IM REALLY CURIOUS AT TO WHAT MAKES YOU SPARK (OR SPARKLE LOL which one do you prefer?? lemme know in the comments below!!)

SPARK OR SPARKLE?!?!?!
WHATS YOUR PASSION DUDE?

  1. Being around, listening to, understanding, observing and helping people makes me sparkle. :) I feel 3x more alive and life seems 3x more fulfilling when I'm around people, especially groups of people.

  2. I like spark more than sparkle, lol, but what really makes me passionate is writing, my faith, and conversations about current events (though it is probably smarter not to get me started on the last one, lol). Books with garbage in them nowadays is ANNOYING! I don't like reading most YA because of it. It's so hard to find nice books.

    Love this post!!

  3. Hmm, I like them both, for different things. I think I can "spark" when I'm talking about the messed up stuff in the world with government and all the controversial issues. :P
Maybe I "sparkle" when I'm taking pictures of amazing things (or just looking at it...}. ^___^
    Those are my thoughts. ;D

  6. AWWW I WANNA SPARKLE TOO!!!!
I think I agree with you, when I'm passionate about something I think that's when I might "sparkle". When people witness me doing something I love, I might slightly glitter....xD LOL

  7. I tend to like 'spark' because it has that snappy, crackly sound. Same girlfriend - whenever I feel like something is totally RIGHT it just GETS ME. You know?

  8. Your thoughts are so inspiring! I like how little things - just a word - can come to mean so much. I'm still figuring out my passion, to be honest, but I know it includes words and people and lots of Jesus, and probably the sky, haha. But it's so awesome to see people light up when they're doing what they love, to see God shine through. We definitely need more of that in the world.

Also dude! You need to check out Psalm 34:5 - one of the definitions for that word radiant, or lightened, or whatever your translation says, is sparkle! It's what happens when we look to Christ! That like blew my mind when I first read the definition. God is awesome. xx

  10. being with friends who are sparks of life, makes me spark(le) (I can't decide which one I like better either XD ) pretty much any moment that i'm able to step back and think "wow, this right here, this is life, this is beautiful" makes me so passionate about people, and living. idk, but you probably get it, just those *Life* moments. i have no idea what im saying haha.
