haha I was smiling at my dad, he kept on giving me info on where Bree's ships were. ;)
September is just whizzing by! I'm trying to grab it and hold on tight, but it just keeps on slipping away. All I seem to be able to do is enjoy each moment God has blessed me with today. Of course, school has been filling up a majority of my morning and afternoons, but evenings, ah now those are entirely a different story. Like last night, my mom and I went on a lovely walk together. We chatted and laughed about how I didn't wear shoes even though we were walking on our dirt road. We soaked in the beauty of the sunset and I spent a majority of that time begging for summer to rewind. hehe! And, we kept track of our steps with our handy new pedometers! Do you know how fun those things are?? :D At this moment, I'm at 4,074. It may seem like a lot, but you're supposed to have 10,000! Like..uhh, how could I possibly do that? I really thought that I walk a lot, but I've had to throw that thought out the window. ;)A few evenings ago, my little siblings set up a carnival. It was so adorable! They had bowling, frisbee toss, darts, and they even set up a table with checkers and battleship. Talk about cute. ;) They also had tickets so you could play at one of the booths. They even got a quarter off of me. ;) lol! I beat Bree in a game of battleship..that game is either a blast or a complete frustrating thing! It's like Minesweeper. :P Its so fun to laugh and joke with my family though! <3
We started getting wood for the winter. Oh, the joy! ;) My brothers and I stacked the first load of it last week. It wasn't too bad, but you do feel a bit sore the next day. lol! I started writing in my new journal. If you could see how full it was already you probably would think I'm obsessed with it. Maybe I am. ;) Though, there is no way you are seeing any of those pages. :D haha!
Do you burn wood to keep warm in the winter??
Do you remember Minesweeper?
What is your favorite season?
The first photo of the cafe is so photogenic! Battle Ship is one of the best games ever! I remember playing it (most of my family's board games downstairs in the basement, thus "remembering").
ReplyDeletexoxo Morning
Aw, thanks! I tried to get a better shot of the adorable place, but it was a little awkward. ;) ;) lol! It really is! You should go for an adventure and break it out tonight. It's a Friday and I think you would have a wonderful time! :D
DeleteI have never played Minesweeper - what is that? :P Nope! No wood-burning here. ;) We have electrical (or central) heating (I'm not actually sure that's what you call it, but...). ;) My favorite season is probably fall! I like how it's chilly out, but not freezing, and you get to bundle up. :) I just got two new sweaters, and it's already getting cold here, so I'll get to wear those. :) I just wore one of them the other day... ;)
ReplyDelete-M-
Haaha, well it is a game that was before real games on the internet. ;) You should google it since it's kinda hard to explain. :D Oh thats nice! We do too, but we use wood as well. It is very homey. ;) Aww, how cute! I just got a ton of new clothes too, but I am not much a sweater person. lol! I'm usually always hot! :D
DeleteHaha my brothers always end up screaming when they play Battleship. ;) They get quite competitive lol! I used to play Minesweeper on my old computer . . . the "violent explosions" actually kind of scared me! My favorite season would HAVE to be summer, even though I always complain that it's way too hot.
ReplyDeleteOoh, they ARE competitive! ;) That's the best! :D I always got frustrated and mad because I felt SO close to getting them all right. haha! Me too.. though I don't complain unless it's humid. ;)
DeleteYESS! I wish summer would rewind as well! School is killing me!!! :p My mom has a pedometer that our neighbor gave her. She hasn't set it up yet. I want to try wearing it at volleyball practice and see how many steps I take there!! lol!
ReplyDeleteMinesweeper? I have never played that before. Have you ever played Tetris? Its super old!
Aww, you poor dear! I am starting to dislike geometry, but the rest I love, and I believe, will the rest of the school year. :D Oh cool! You should really do that! I would love to compare. :D Hahaa, you should look it up. ;) Tetris is super old..like its the first game that was ever on phones. lol!!
DeleteI like autumn best, and we do have a wood fire in winter, it is so cosy!
ReplyDeleteOoh, how homey! What are some of your favorite things to do in fall? :)
DeleteHi Julia! I just found your blog today and love it! Keep up the great work! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite season is summer!!!! :D Hands down. I'm pretty sad to see it go, but fall's a great time too, and my birthday's in fall, so yay! We don't burn wood where I live and even if we did, we wouldn't need to...its been in the eighties all week.
;)

Well, Sunny, thank you so much!! When people leave comments like this, it really boosts me to keep at it. :) Thanks :D lol! Just like me.. summer beats EVERYTHING. Mine is in the summer, so yeah for me. ;) But fall is awesome too..it just isn't summer. That's all. ;)
DeleteOh and BTW, I see you love Mary Poppins and Sound of Music. ME TOO! Like, my TOP FAVORITE movies. :D Have you seen Saving Mr. Banks, if you haven't, you need to! It will make you love Mary Poppins even more. :)
Aw, you're welcome! I'm glad I could give you a boost. :)
DeleteLOL! Yes!!! Long live summer! You're very lucky to have a summer birthday. I'd love to have my birthday in the summer. :) But honestly, fall's pretty good too. I'm just glad I don't have a winter birthday. :) Or one close to Christmas, that's tough.
Ooh, YAY! Aren't they just the best? My sister and I watched the Sound of Music over the weekend.... it was great as always. And no, I haven't seen Saving Mr. Banks yet, but if/when I do, I just know I'll like it. After all, it's MARY POPPINS!! :D

aww you look so pretty in that picture where you're smiling at your dad :)
ReplyDeleteit's been a long time since i've been around here though...wow... ^_^ school's like crazy...
i know right?? time is literally flying. i think. honestly, it seems like we were just getting ready for a great 2015 or whatever, and in a few months, it's going to be 2016. wow. that's like so weird. but, God is in control and He has a plan, whatever it is :) that must've been so fun to have a carnival with your family! that's so cute.
well we didn't start chopping wood yet, but we'll probably get started with it soon enough ^_^
You sweet girl! My dad makes me laugh and smile often. ;) I know! I've missed you! :D Aw, school has been busy for me too. In fact, I've got some math I need to go do.. lol! I wish I wasn't flying with it. haha WAIT! WHAT?? Only a few months... oh my oh my oh my. I wasn't ready for that shock, Autumn!! Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't panic.. :) Wasn't it darling?? My siblings are very creative. Oh fun! You have to actually chop your wood?? Blah! haha, we buy ours and then stack it. :)
Deletetee hee i read your comment and I had to reply :)) yeah, we axe down trees and then chop em up. Well, usually I don't...but the others do :)
Deletelol! That totally does not sound like fun. Stacking, in my opinion, is bad enough. ;) lol!!
DeleteYes, autumn is fast approaching. I'm not sure if I look forward to or dread it :). Aww, that is adorable! My little siblings love to make tents around the house and pretend they are hunting. It's so cute, but sometimes quite messy, lol!
ReplyDeleteyeah.. I'm pretty much dreading it. :P :P haha! Oh how cute!! My brothers do pretend hunting as well, but they pretend like they are stranded somewhere and have to make it home. ;) They will say "I'll be home soon!" :) Hahaa, yeah, but sometimes imaginations are messy. ;) lol! Miss you!
