I wanted to test my own strength, endurance, but also the idea of having a set amount laid out for my in a daily form was doable to me - something I could tackle. I just completed 19 days yesterday. Yes, guys, I did 85 sit ups, 120 crunches, 50 leg rises, and a 75 second plank. *dies bc omw that plank*
BUT YOU SEE. I did it. I was sure that I could never complete a 1 minute and 15 second long plank bc WHOA THATS REALLY LONG K. but i did it. which totally means that you can too!!!
I noticed that the last few days have been a struggle for me..not sure if it's bc I'm sick again for the 2nd time in like 3 weeks, or that it's just getting too hard? So, that's why the challenge has been cut down to 19 days. It's what I've completed and recommend. xD
I even got my dad to do this *laughs* It's really fun to yank my yoga mat onto the floor and be like "daaaaaaaddddd it's time for your exercises" #imdaughtergoalsk
tho often I'm like *points down*
and yes, I'm aware that my little sister is so adorable. GUYS I SHOWED HER HOW TO DO A PLANK AND SHE CAN DO IT. like. wow. advanced kid.

YES. I actually don't mind the sit ups - it's the planks that are killing me. Crunches are hard too - but if I do them in like 10-15 set increments, I can do it. and SAME

DeleteHehe, everyone calls me the muscle lady in our house, just to randomly let you know lol! I do a lot of gymnastic stuff. And I'm always up to a challenge! I'm doing 5 push ups a day, and 10 whatever they're called where you lay down and lift your legs straight up then down a couple inches from the floor, and up again-those things.. *deep breath* so yeah-i already do abs! =)

ReplyDeleteOkay so I'm the sort of person where if you give me a dare, I will most likely do it or kill myself trying. At the beginning of this year my sisters, knowing me so well as they do, dared me to learn/be able to do 100 push ups in a row within six months. SO OF COURSE I SAID OKAY.
So I've been doing some insane sort of push up challenge thing and it actually is kinda working?? I mean, at the beginning I could /just/ do 15 push ups in a row, now I can do 35 so I'm quite pleased about that. *nods*

DeleteAWWW thank you dear <33333 OMW I have to do abs workouts for track & cross country...right now I'm at like 75 situps and 2 x 1 min plank for one session....but during the summer I was up to 100 situps!!! Great job you!!!
