Okay. I've decided. I am done with this blog design..I am ready to move onward to a new one. :D

I always do this to myself. I start out thinking "Oh, I just LOVE this design!". Week later... "Hmm..maybe I should change it." 3 days later.. "No! I like it too much! How could I dump my beloved design??". 5 days later.. "I'm done! I need a new design..now!". Uhg, me.. lol!

And so, I have now embarked (so adventuress sounding, right??) on the mission to find the new design that can fit my blog..or rather me, which is hard. ;)  If any of you lovely readers have any designers to recommend, that'd be great. And if it's free, I'll give you the moon. ;)

Summer Reading Update:

A friend of mine had a great idea of doing a book swap (or two..or three lol!) this summer. I was totally in the mood for new books. :D We set up a date to meet at the library for our first book swap! One of the books she blessed me with was one that I've wanted for a looong time. It's called "Christian Heroes then and now: Lillian Trasher". She was a missionary in Africa, Egypt to be precise. And since I haven't finished the book yet, I cannot tell you more yet! haha! I am planning on doing a Ladies in History post on Lillian..she has touched me that deeply already. :)

Oh...and I did the calculations yesterday. I found out that Sarah is ahead of me slightly (2 and 1/2 hours, actually!) at one the libraries that we are entered in..and I'm ahead in the other! Ohh yeah! ;) Hehe, Sarah and I are very competitive with each other. :D I love my sister. ♥

Do you know of any amazing blog designers??
How is summer reading going for you??
Have you ever been so bored of algebra that you take pictures of your lesson book? ;)

  3. Unfortunately I don't know of any templates. I'm sure whatever you pick will be great though haha! I keep wanting to change the SKG website but then I look at it and really am in love with the template. <3
And go Julia! ;) LOL. So not picking favorites here. May the best sister win!

  5. *coughs* yes, in fact i do know how boring mathematics can get to the point of taking photos of it. too many in fact ^_^
and actually, i'm not doing a whole whole lot of reading this summer... i do on weekends, but not usually during the week. currently, i'm on the left behind: the kids series.
um, designers? well, i do (did) designs, but they're just like bleh, right? rosie (http://www.selfknownblog.com/) offers free templates and they're pretty amazing, if you ask me ^_^

    1. LOL! You should post one of your many pictures on your blog! ;) I would love to see one of your work problems. ;) Oh neat! Do you like them? Ohh, thanks!! I'll check her out. :D I sure hope you will like my new design. ;)

  6. Don't get my started on math. I'm literally the youngest in all of my classes, and they have decided that this year they will put me in pre-calculus and trigonometry. If you see me do math homework, I start by sitting down. Then, at the halfway mark, I get so frustrated that I end up standing up, and at the end, I sit back down. It looks absolutely ridiculous I don't know what to do anymore. >.< :P

Well, I'm on vacation right now (I actually have wifi, yay!) but if you want, I can do your design, and it's really not for profit, so you won't have to pay. I'm actually planning on reopening my design business when I get back in about a week... just email me at morningtimeoftheautumneast4@gmail.com on what you want (if you want to get a design from me) so I can get started when I get back!

    xoxo Morning

    1. Pre-calculus????!!! Ohhhhhhhhh....mmmyyyy. I would die!! lol! You'll get through it though..try sitting on your head. That always clears things up. ;) lol!

Oh neat! Are you in a nice warm place? Or more of a historical one? Thanks so much for the offer!! (and I really hope your business will start up busy again!) But, my dear sisters actually did the new design for me. I wasn't going to ask them, but they got started yesterday and quickly finished it.. I was surprised! :D Thanks again! <3

  7. My sister Leah has read Lillian Trasher and liked it! There are so many of those books! They are really good! I don't do summer reading but yesterday I started reading The Chronicles of Narnia. I have never read it before (we have them all in one big book), but I have watched all 3 of the movies. :) Keep up the good work on your algebra!

  8. I love your current design but I get the need for a change! I actually did a post recently where I put up a list of designers, some of whom are free. Here is the link: http://everythingisblogsome.blogspot.com/2015/06/wonderful-blog-designers.html
As for summer reading, I'm currently reading the Harry Potter books and am really enjoying them. Obviously, they do have magic, but thus far it's not very dark, and all of the "spells" are actually Latin phrases. I really like all the characters.
And, oh, Algebra....I just sat at the table and cried. It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only person not done with school yet. :P
Oh, and I love Lillian Trasher and have read that same book! It's sitting on my bookshelf right now. Great read. I found her very inspiring, especially as my dream is to work with orphans in China for at least a few years and to adopt someday. :)

    1. Haha, my friend (Clara from Reasons to Smile) actually told me about that post last night! I looked, but couldn't find it. Thanks a ton! :) Ohhh...I understand. I will cry sometimes as well..uhg, why does it have to hurt the brain so much?! Hehe, yeah, I'm still doing it. We will get this done together, right?? ;)
Oh, that is so cool! Do you remember when you last read it? I will pray that the Lord will fulfill your dreams. :)

    2. Oh, really? I know someone else who had that problem....maybe I should put the link to it on my sidebar or something, so it's easy to find. I do want it to be helpful!
I KNOW!!!! My dad {who is an electrical engineer} is very good about helping me with it, so that's good.
I think I last read it a couple years back, but I've read it several times. I also love Ida Scudder...have you read her story?

      Thank you! :)

      P.S.
Just a thought....if you want help with customizing search or email widgets, a scroll to top button, a customized highlighter color, or a pin it button, I'd love to help you out! I get it if you'd rather not, but just thought I'd offer. :)

    3. That would be great! :) Haha, my dad is amazing when it comes to algebra too! I kinda feel bad for all the dads stuck with daughters crying over algebra..or math overall. LOL! :D Hmm.. I think I did, but I'm not sure. I'll have to ask my friend if she has that one. :) Thanks for the suggestion!!

Oh thanks so much for the offer, but I think I'm going to keep everything the way that it is for right now. :) I will surely keep you in mind though!! :) Have a lovely day!

  9. You sound just like me! Hahaha!
If you haven't found anyone yet, which you probably have, I'd be happy to do it for you. I'm not the greatest ever, but hey, I'm free.
And I'm sure Morning from theworldthroughmywindowsill.blogspot.com will do it. Her designs are SUPERB.

    Good luck!
